Most zip disks are partitioned (at the factory) to be /dev/sda4. I
believe this had something to do with the Apple Macintosh (the old Macs
all used scsi hard drives, so it was sensible that zip disks should be
the last scsi device). But you can change this default configuration to
/dev/sda1 by using cfdisk.
