Using Fuji E550 camera and Linux

Does anyone have any experience using a Fuji FinePix E550 digital camera
with Sarge? I've just recently purchased it and I'm having a heck of a
time downloading pictures from it.

I've tried using both, digiKam (KDE) and gphoto2. Unfortunately, neither
has the camera in their database. So, I'm probably setting something up
incorrectly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
