lol, I've had that sort of problem twice now with kmail's imap support.  It'll 
refuse to login, but won't explain that you need to install another suggested 
package for imap support.

Personally, I think that if the debian tools aren't going to get more obvious 
about installing suggested software, then the debian packages should be 
patching error messages to explain the likely problem. "Unable to start the 
IMAP process.  Did you install the kio-* package?"  would have been much more 
informative.

I mean, sure, we could read the docs and check the suggests for each package, 
but who does that for a simple mail client? ;)
