Re: apm: overridden by ACPI???

find /lib/modules/2.6.10-1-686 -type f -iname \*acpi\* -exec rm {} \;

and modifying the "acpi=off" into the grub kernel command line did it.

Thank you all who responded, got real tired of having to constantly reboot.
