SOLVED Re: NFS / file size limits - something broken



So, as it turns out, for some reason my NFS mount was defaulting to NFS
version 2, and not NFS version 3, when both the server and client are
running Debian. This is still an issue, I guess, but I can work around it
now by explicitly requiring version 3 mounts.

Strange, strange.

Also, my problem with dump(8) is likely a non-issue, but it'll be a while
before my level 0 completes and I can confirm this. I saw some new
anomalous behaviour from dump(8) but I can track it down later.
