printing or postscript probs
Under CUPS to a HP2100 on a Windows box, from my Debian box, I have a
PDF which I can print no problem. But to conserve paper I do pdf2ps,
psnup -2,ps2pdf
but the resulting PDF will not print. Looking at the cups error_log I
note (see below) that pstops & foomatic-rip are invoked in the
non-working case but not the working case. I fail to see why this is so.
If anybody would enlighten me on what the differences are (or better
still how to get the non-working case to work!) I'd be grateful.
