No problem at all. I use postfix with amavisd-new and spamassassin.
clamAV and F-secure are used as antivirus filters. The mail is offered
to my users through maildrop (MDA) and dovecot (IMAP).

You do not mention it, but I also make a difference between local users
(who can use the standard protocols) and remote users (who have to use
the SSL versions of the protocols). Depending on your situation that can
be an important thing to reccon with when choosing your daemons.

Nope, dovecot will do that for you without breaking sweat.

Please give me one or two days and I'll write an article on how I set up
my mailserver, including SASL (in a jail) and other related topics such
as clamav and spamassassin. I'll post the URL later this week.

P.S. I need to do some other things first, sorry to keep you waiting.
I'll try to be quick about it.
