hp notebook ohci problem

hi,

I have just bought a new HP notebook. (zv5410us)
$lspci -v | grep USB
0000:00:02.0 USB Controller: nVidia Corporation nForce3 USB 1.1 (rev
a5) (prog-if 10 [OHCI])
0000:00:02.1 USB Controller: nVidia Corporation nForce3 USB 1.1 (rev
a5) (prog-if 10 [OHCI])
0000:00:02.2 USB Controller: nVidia Corporation nForce3 USB 2.0 (rev
a2) (prog-if 20 [EHCI])

While the system is loading I get some errors related with the osci-hcd module:
$ dmesg | grep ohci
ohci1394: $Rev: 1223 $ Ben Collins <bcollins@debian.org>
ohci1394: fw-host0: OHCI-1394 1.1 (PCI): IRQ=[18]
MMIO=[e0108000-e01087ff]  Max Packet=[2048]
ohci_hcd: 2004 Nov 08 USB 1.1 'Open' Host Controller (OHCI) Driver (PCI)
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: nVidia Corporation nForce3 USB 1.1
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: USB HC TakeOver failed!
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: can't reset
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.0: init 0000:00:02.0 fail, -16
ohci_hcd: probe of 0000:00:02.0 failed with error -16
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: nVidia Corporation nForce3 USB 1.1 (#2)
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: USB HC TakeOver failed!
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: can't reset
ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: init 0000:00:02.1 fail, -16
ohci_hcd: probe of 0000:00:02.1 failed with error -16

ehci-hcd loads properly, and I can use usb2.0 devices.
$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 05dc:a400 Lexar Media, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

I am using 2.6.10-9-amd64-k8. I have also tried 2.6.9-10-amd64-k8 and
2.6.8-10-amd64-k8, with no luck.

What can be the problem? I read some information on kernel mailing
lists regarding a bug in the BIOS. Is it exactly what my problem is?
usb 1.1 devices do work on windows xp OS.

Thanks
