dhclient

I'm seeing these messages regularly in the /var/log/syslog file, could
somebody help me understand (a) what it means and (b) what to do about
it. This is on sarge with 2.4 kernel. I couldn't find anything relevant
using Google or in the dhclient man page. Sorry if I've missed any
required info! TIA Michael

overflows input buffer.

localhost dhclient: Option option-114 length 255 overflows input buffer.

localhost dhclient: Option static-routes length 255 overflows input
buffer.
