Hi,

you could try doing

apt-get install doc-linux-text

if you don't have it already, and then have a look at

/usr/share/doc/HOWTO/en-txt/Xinerama-HOWTO.gz

which will tell you how to use two screens on one computer and use
them as one virtual screen (Can this method display the _same_
screen on both monitors? ...Uh, I don't know).

Also interesting is

/usr/share/doc/HOWTO/en-txt/XFree-Local-multi-user-HOWTO.gz

which tells you how to use your setup plus another (USB)-keyboard
and a (USB)-mouse in order to get two users working on _one_
computer... I find that exceedingly cool!!!

Good luck

Andreas
