While this is a bigger step, what about installing gcc-3.4 in it's
entirety, and possibly getting rid of gcc-3.3? I'd try the new
install first and see if it works, of course. You can always give
apt-get the --dry-run flag to see if removing 3.3 will kill anything
critical. Then again, a FUBAR gcc-3.3 isn't exactly a *useful*
dependency.
