Do vfat and ext2 coexist happily logical partitions?

I thought I read somewhere about some sort of restriction, but I can't find 
anything.

I'm leaving blank space at the end of my disk to be partitioned later as 
needed.

Any problems having a vfat or 2 followed by an ext2 followed by another 
vfat followed by another ext2, all on logical partitions?
