First, this is the wrong place to ask. This is the Debian user mailing
list, you should go to

channel or a mailing list for Fedora.

Second, you probably need to convert the kernel-2.6.9-1-667.src.rpm to
the kernel-source-2.6.9-1-667.rpm, as described in the Fedora Core 3
Release Notes:

(search for "redundancy")

Third, there is a Kernel Build Howto that you should read:
