Hi,

I don't have _the_ solution, but you should have a look at the files

/usr/share/doc/kernel-doc-2.6.7/Documentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.bttv.gz
/usr/share/doc/kernel-doc-2.6.7/Documentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.tuner.gz

from the package 'kernel-doc-2.x.x'. There are many different tuner and
card types, try loading different combinations which make sense to you:

rmmod bttv
modprobe bttv type=xx tuner=xx

I don't remember, you might have to remove the tuner module as well,
can't try as I am recording something right now...:)
My card was not found under 2.4.xx kernels, so I had a little play
around and never got it to work. 2.6.7-1-686-smp however works fine for
me.

Good luck,

Andreas
