Dave have been right. I've run inkscape, drawn a sqare, and measured it
with a "real" ruler. There was difference, although I haven't seen it
without measurement (ie about 9.5 x 10.3 mm).

In my case it doesn't matter, as I use 1280x1024 as a virtual
resolution, and 1024x768 is the real one within.
