Download one into a good parent directory.  chmod u+x on the file. 
execute it.  Add its bin directory to your path.

According to Jonathan Schwartz, there are only three operating systems
left for Intel: Windows, Sun Orion, and RedHat.  Don't hold your breath
waiting for intelligence from Sun management.
