Yes. http://www.clamav.net (packaged in sarge and sid). It knows a bit
about spywares, but it is nothing like the anti-spyware Winblows programs.

Do not run crappy code, never run binaries that you didn't either compile or
got from Debian, and above all, do not do stupid things (such as browsing
the web) as root. Keep your system up-to-date re. security updates (i.e.
verify and install them very, very often (daily if you can)).
That should keep your system free of these types of annoyances.

Yes, we do. It is just a lot harder to get them, and the damage is usually
less widespread.
OTOH we are very good target for worms, since people like to skip on
security updates, and worms are REALLY bad.
As for spywares, indeed keeping your browser up-to-date usually gets rid of
those. But you also need sane configuration and non-stupid-behaviour on the
user part to avoid them (e.g. you need to never enable off-site object
retrieval on html email; same for javascript support on email; and you must
not go around running anything you receive, either).
