Oh yeah - we are only very small - 8 users and We are using a PII 233
with 64MB RAM.

It was coping ok with spamassassin 2.6, but 3.0 completely killed it -
scan times of over a minute, which can be a problem at smtp time...
moving spamc to a more beasty box is workng great. Scan times drop back
to less than a second on a P4 2.6 Gig, 1 Gig RAM machine. Much nicer.
