USB flash disk

I recently installed a Sarge with kernel 2.6.8. When I plug my USB flash disk 
it doesn't work. The syslog messages are:

Previously I was running a Mandrake 9.2 with kernel 2.4.x and the device 
worked properly.
Can someone help me?
