Alright! A war story! I used to work tech support myself...got sick
of it, did security for a while, got a better paying job as the
shipping clerk at $LOCAL_COMPUTER_STORE. A pretty good job, get to
fill in for a tech every once in a while when we're low on techs
instead of letting some pointy-haired luser on the other end of a
couple thousand miles of copper be my eyes and hands...

I always found it annoying when people would call me up asking about
how to interpret their (non-syslog) wannabee-logfile output. "How
should I know? We didn't give or sell it to you, so we don't support
it. RTFM!"
