 Thanks for the answer. I don't think I could use it really, because it
assumes you have the source tree, and I installed it from the deb package.

In the end, I tried some 'debian way'. dpkg-reconfigure apache-ssl suggests
to use ssl-certificate --force, which I did. The succesfull combination was
this:

/usr/sbin/ssl-certificate --force
dpkg-reconfigure

This gives me a certificate for 1 month, and mozilla asks me to accept the
new certificate. I tried

ssl-certificate --force -days 365

to not bother for one year, but then mozilla complained that I had two
certificates with same fingerprint (or signature?, I forgot!), and could not
even open the page. I had to generate the one month certificate again. 

It was easier than I thought. Thanks again.
