The root hub should at least show up in /proc/bus/usb/devices What USB modules do you have loaded? modprobe usbcore modprobe usb-uhci
Your post led me in the right direction. I didn't have the uhci module loaded. After loading it, it worked great. Thanks for your help. Mike
