Apt tries to install libncurses5-dev from testing/unstable, so most
likely your /etc/apt/sources.list file is not set up correctly.  Make
sure it refers to stable, but not testing or unstable.  Then issue the
command

    apt-get update && apt-get install libncurses5-dev
