Re: Sony DSC P72 Digital Camera on USB port



Please, install package usbutils and after that run lsusb with your
camera connected to the usb interface and also turned on. lsusb should
be able to list your camera and then you can mount the memory card
with something like this:

mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /camera_mount_point

The device is not always sda1. You can determine it using dmesg. If
the camera is not listed using lsusb, your kernel probably doesn't
have support to your camera (use 2.4 or 2.6 instead).
