You can use the following command, substitute the config file of your
kernel. I have that module here, but you may be using a 2.2.x kernel
and I am not sure about that kernel version.
$ 'cat /boot/config-2.4.26 |grep 1371'
CONFIG_SOUND_ES1371=m
