samba + win2k = oplock problem?

Hi, i've been running this samba server for many months now, and have
had no problems with it. today i tried playing some music stored on the
samba server (container) using my win2k laptop (slim) running winamp.
this has worked before...but now whenever a song is requested to play,
winamp hangs for up to a minute, and the following is generated in
/var/log/samba/log.slim:

after that hang, the file starts playing without a problem. what's even
stranger is that my other debian machines use the server fine (over
samba) and there seems to be no lag when the file is accessed using
windows media player. so on the one hand it looks like a winamp
problem, but i've tried three different versions of winamp, and all have
the same problem. let me know what you think...my smb.conf is attached.
