I had an unusual experience at Microsoft -- I worked in Web TV's old
headquarters over on Charleston, up the road from the La Aveneda campus.
It was a big building, but the whole time I worked there, I was the same
ten people every day. They put about 200 computers in there, 10x
(2x8cpu, 5x2cpu, 2x4cpu, domain controller, and a lab). We were a lab.

There were $6 million worth of Computers in it. (The facility itself
cost a lot more than that). So I compute all "big numbers" as how many
little groups of ten people can sit and play with some computers, like
we did. This fine would support roughly 1000 people :-)
