Yes. It's english. As I have already posted in another sub-thread,
it appears the problem with xpdf is the type 3 fonts. Kghostview
produces better output but the bullets in lists are not rendered
properly, as well as the first list's fonts.
I did import text files into abiword, but then I create lists,numbered
and bulleted, which seems to be main cause of grief.
I have already addressed your other points in other sub-threads.
