Joe,

I found that by upgrading the BIOS on my system I was able to access a 
new feature in the BIOS which allowed my to use 8MB of video RAM vs. 
the standard 1MB of RAM on earlier versions of the BIOS. Solved the 
problem immediately. I was using BIOS version A02 on a Dell Optiplex, 
and am now using version A06.
