Only by fluke. I already consider myself Canadian, because if you
discount votes at the vote at Champoeg made by convicted felons (who
weren't supposed to be voting), Oregon belongs to Canada by one vote
instead of vice-versa[1]. Nobody caught this until it was *way* too
late, unfortunately.

Well, it wouldn't be a problem if they'd either 1) leave my country or
2) assimilate into the local culture instead of attempting to
assimilate ours. Granted, this contient as a whole has had a terrible
track record with number 2, but it's never too soon to try and change
that.

Shitting is in progress. Changes in my employment situation almost
two years ago and changes in Canadian law at the start of this year
has put my progress back four years, an extremely frustrating
situation.
[1] This is a good example of one vote making a difference for those
who refuse to vote on the grounds that one vote never made a
difference.
