Where do printing fonts get set?

I have the following setup
I am composing a document using KWORD on machine 1.
It is printing via cups to a cupsys defined printer on machine 2.
That printer is actually a windows shared printer on machine 3.
The document I am composing used a number of the true type fonts I have
installed on machine 1. But when I print it the resultant document is all
the same font.
Where, and what fonts, do I need to install to get the printing up to what I
can see on screen?
