I tried to run testing for a while a year or two ago, but got frustrated with it for various reasons, and went back to running unstable. Now I run unstable on all my desktop boxes, and stable on my servers. Every once in a while unstable will give me some surprise, but the only major problem I've experienced was a bug in (I believe) the PAM package(s), which prevented new logins, and even that was fixed within a few days, and didn't cause much problem for me.
