There is a program that will build a sources.list for you.
'netselect-apt' will download or use the Debian mirror list already on
your box, run each source through 'netselect' and build a sources.list
from the fastest sources used. The advantage of this app is it will
create a sources.list in the dir that you run the command from, it will
not replace your existing sources.list.
