Yeah, but this doesn't help that much since I'm logging into lots of
different places with my laptop, and it's only at work that I want that
domain name obviously.
I could script it all but I guess I thought that's what the DHCP stuff
was supposed to take care of for me.

Not sure what you mean. Although, I did work with the maintainer to get
important configuration options available in am-utils.
