Re: Newbie Q: Where are my kernel sources?

Hi,

Thanks for the answer.

I tried what you suggested and found plenty of files however apt-cache still didn't tell me where they were on my computer.

How do I figure out the file path to the kernel-headers?

Cheers,

apt-cache search kernel-source

But you probably just need the headers

apt-cache search kernel-headers

Use 'uname -a' to figure out which one you need.
