If you have a stock stable postfix from Debian then the alias file is located in the standard /etc/aliases location. This may be modified in the postfix main.cf file. Also, the "sendmail" standard interface of 'newaliases' can be used to do the postmap and reload operations automatically. editor /etc/aliases newaliases Bob
