The 'rs-' screensavers are all highly graphically intensive
screensavers.  They're pretty much designed for showing off what your
graphics card can do.  They'll be acceptable on the fastest, highest-end
gaming systems, but little else.

I get relatively smooth performance running in an 800x600 window, but
the rest of my box bogs down.
