Cups client printing to Cups server

Hello,

I've been trying to setup Cups printing on a small network. The server
has two printers, both work using cups on the server. However, trying to
set the clients up using cups seems like an almost impossbile mission...

I found a web site <http://slowest.net/docs/howtos/print/cupsremote.html>,
which explains how you need to edit the */etc/cups/client.conf* file by
adding the server's name in the appropriate field. The web page also
explains how you need to edit */etc/cups/cupsys.conf (cupsd.conf? Debian)*
by adding the client IP address into the "Allow" field.

I've done that, in addition to using the KDE "Cups Server Administration
Tool" with little or no success. Once I was able to get the printers to
work on my client machine, but my server continued to bombard the network
with packets (I thought it is only suppose to send them at 30 sec.
intervals).

If anyone can help me I would gladly appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
John Kerr Anderson
