xsane fax hylafax
I need to send a fax, seemed simple, used xsane fax option, scanned it
in all AOK, gv worked, tried to fax ... zip
Did some digging in preferances ... xsane uses sendfax
which sendfax
zip .. no go :-(
aptitude, check xsane, needs hylafax-client.
Install it
which sendfax
yep, got it :-)
send fax ... zip
Start xsane from KDE shell ... "cant contact server..."
aptitude
install hylafax-server
Goes very wobbly, appears to be problem with .deb package, errors all round.
dpkg -P hylafax-server
More errors ....
Am I right in thinking hylafax-server.deb has a bug ?
Is there any other way to get xsane to send a fax ?
