I'm positive that number is "variable" based on a lot of different
factors. If you've ever created an MPEG-2 for SVCD use, there's dozens
of options.
For what it's worth, I've got a few "movies" on SVCD. One is 108 minutes
according to www.imdb.com. It fits on (2) CD-Rs. And the quality ?? It's
DVD-quality or really damn close to it.
Another one is 161 minutes and it takes (3) CD-Rs. A friend of mine
ended up buying a dvd-changer for this reason !
