/dev problem for X
Since I have a radeon 9000 video card, I installed version 4.3 of X.
Apparently it works fine, nevertheless the log file contains some
warnings and a correlated error.
The warnings are
open /dev/fb? No such device
(there are 7 such warnings, since ? ranges on [1-7])
The error is
RADEON(0) Failed to open framebuffer device
Actually /dev directory does not contain any device called fb[1-7].
Is this just a minor problem, or a catastrophe is waiting just around
the corner?
