hi there! i am trying to set up a cron job to start gqview on a remote pc - to display on the remote pc's screen.... if i login and set the display, i can start xclients. i only have a problem with cron. i set up cron to call a script - the script set's the display (export DISPLAY=10.0.0.2:0) then runs gqview. here is the error cron sent (emailed) me: Xlib: connection to "10.0.0.2:0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: 10.0.0.2:0 any thoughts on how i can get this to work? tia, jason -- Jason M.
