hey all, i'm looking around for some easy way to put my digital photos online. for the past half a year or so i've just been letting users navigate the raw directory structure, but (especially since i tend to shoot at 1600x1200) i'd like some way of thumbnailing the pix, with links to the actual photos. i did an apt-cache search for 'thumbnail' and came up with a bunch. i tried out cthumb -- here's an example: http://www.maenad.net/photo/2003/04/27/ -- but most of the themes seem to be really broken (check out http://www.maenad.net/photo/2003/04/27/neat-round.html -- i prefer that theme, but it's got issues with black space on the leftmost column). i also can't get the captions to be turned on for the ones that have captions, and not display image names for the ones that don't. does anyone have a favorite gallery program they use for sticking digital pix online? i'm curious what people are using and are satisfied with. thanks! </nori> -- .~. nori @ sccs.swarthmore.edu /V\ http://www.sccs.swarthmore.edu/~nori/jnl/ // \\ @ maenad.net /( )\ www.maenad.net ^`~'^ get my (*new*) key here: http://www.maenad.net/geek/gpg/7ede5499.asc (please *remove* old key 11e031f1!)
