I was running on a similar setup (P-133/96MB/4GB) for the past several
months. WindowMaker, lots of rxvt windows, w3m, and dillo. *None* of
the other graphical browsers was usable (Opera, Phoenix, Galeon,
Mozilla, BrowseX). You're making some sacrifices with both w3m and
dillo, but it's a largely workable combination. No Java/Javascript,
limited graphics. w3m gives you ssl and htauth, dillo provides good
graphics and performance.

Frankly, you're going to be far happier with a hardware upgrade. A
PIII-500 MHz system is highly usable and costs probably ~$100 currently
(US pricing). New systems for <$300 will put you over 1GHz.
