usually no, but sometimes a vendor compiles an app in such a way that
it does not run AT ALL on debian. if it runs, great. if it segfaults
immediately then you may be out of luck. also depends on how the app
installs, if it has a ton of rpm dependencies it may be difficult to
work everything out, if it installs via some script that just copies
a buncha files it may work easily.

best way to find out is to try :)
