Not recognising USB devices
I'm running 3.0 with 2.4.18-bf2.4, and I have a HP Photosmart 7150 on
USB. In my dmesg I see :-
usb.c: registered new driver usbdevfs
usb.c: registered new driver hub
usb-uhci.c: $Revision: 1.275 $ time 10:29:43 Apr 14 2002
usb-uhci.c: High bandwidth mode enabled
and when I plug the printer in to the USB port I get :-
hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/2, assigned device number 2
usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x3f0/0x3a02) is not claimed by any
active driver.
However lsusb -vv gives no output at all, and my /proc/bus/usb directory
is empty. I'm lost and confused in the world of google. I've looked at
linuxprinting.org but could not find anything relevant. Any ideas as to
what I should do next?
Regards,
Dave
