Well, I just started up X fresh here, on a Sid box, and it's 276M viert,
20M res, and 3720 shr.

And on my Woody machine, 53M virt, 3.9M res, and 1792 shr.

I'm using icewm on both, with everything pretty much standard, no apps
starting up beyond what's default.

I suspect you're running unstable as well on that 343 meg one?
