How can I tell what resources these nics pci are trying to use? In the logs of the old kernel when the 3c59x was working, it used IRQs 5 and 11 at different times, seemingly at random. My bios is set to plugnplay os -no, but it has no setting for assign vga irq... I'm still not real clear on how linux works with resources. I read once that "linux doesn't much care what the bios says" and that stuck with me, is that not true?
