Does the module insert cleanly?  If you type /sbin/ifconfig, does it
show information for eth0?  If so, what does it look like?  Does your
network use DHCP or static assignments?  If it uses static
assignments, did you specify it during the installation when it asked
for network information?  If it uses DHCP, did the installer
successfully get on the network itself?  Do you have dhclient or
dhcpcd installed?
