Sensors(PLEASE!!)

I just wondered if anyone have been able to get the sensors working
correctly on the Gigabyte 7va-c(or vax/va) motherboards? I am running
Debian Unstable with Kernel 2.4.20 (recompiled). I have installed
lm-sensors(or rather compiled) too. I have run sensors-detect and it
seems to me that I have detected my motherboard chip and sensor. I have
found the following on the net.

Board	Sensor Chip	Case Sensor CPU Sensor
========================================================================================
GA7 VAC	SIS950/ITE8705F	SIS950/ITE8705F 1 LM90 [remote]

The it87 chip is installed and one temperature forseems right and the
fan speed also seems correct(cpu fan).

[~]$ sensors

Adapter: ISA adapter
Algorithm: ISA algorithm
VCore 1: +1.64 V (min = +1.42 V, max = +1.56 V) ALARM
VCore 2: +1.28 V (min = +2.40 V, max = +2.60 V) ALARM
+3.3V: +6.58 V (min = +3.12 V, max = +3.44 V) ALARM
+5V: +4.94 V (min = +4.72 V, max = +5.24 V)
+12V: +12.16 V (min = +11.36 V, max = +12.60 V)
-12V: -5.81 V (min = -12.63 V, max = -11.41 V) ALARM

fan2: 0 RPM (min = 3000 RPM, div = 2) ALARM
fan3: 0 RPM (min = 3000 RPM, div = 2) ALARM
Temp1/MB: +34°C (min = +20°C, max = +40°C)
Temp2/CPU: +88°C (min = +25°C, max = +45°C)
Temp3: -55°C (min = +25°C, max = +45°C)

I don't like the +88° for the CPU and the second fan is not working.I
know the current temp for idle should be about 30-38 C. I don't worry
about the fan, but I really need the CPU temp.

I would really like any help. I am still bit scared of burning out a cpu
and amd can produce problems, well so i have seen

Regards
Tinus
